A "shooting" at Gold Base?

Anyone here about this? I'm paraphrasing what a Scientologist wrote:

I find it extremely hard to believe that the Co$ wouldn't make a huge fuss over this if it were true.
Not sure of the date format. I think the poster is American, so I'm assuming the date proper is December 8th, 2008? Also, I'm ignorant of the geography at GB. Are those streets anywhere near it?

Yes, that would be the date.
19625 Gilman Springs Road, Gilman Hot Springs, California, 92583
..and yes, Sanderson Rd. borders Gold Base (and crosses Gilman Springs Rd.).

Have you (or anyone else here) tried calling the Riverside sheriff's dept. or CA highway patrol to check it out? |

No I haven't. I'm in the UK and don't fancy paying our extortionate international call rates

Ha, I thought you might be, but I wasn't sure! Maybe someone else closer has checked on it. I'll poke around the other forums and see if I can find someone who's called. If not, I suppose I could give it a try. |

Lol, she/he sent the same message to my Youtube account that night. It might have been some random driveby, or maybe the Scilon guards were cleaning their guns and one went off. She/he sure sends a LOT of messages to people.
