*I am not english*
As if it was not enough to warn 'no honk if you HATE", there was a 'honk if you hate Tom Cruise' in Melbourne.

Those kids lack education, just these ones, not all of them.
I like the 'honk if you oppose scientology', but the TC one was wrong, and I know Mark and Tory and many warn against that.

Also, the idea of TC mask is nasty.
It's just nasty, obnoxious persecution and attempt to ridicule.
The video is 4 years old, and since 2005, he quiet down a lot.

You should let every person the chance to live and let die peacefully and to learn from there mistakes. Which is what he did by not attenting many scientology events and refuse to do press conferences just to avoid the press who love to ask about co$ and Suri! seriously this is too much.
Let him breath.

Go wear Miscavige mask I don't give a damn about that, actually, rare are the people who know his face and his name alone.
Thank you.

Oh, and the many prank calls are nasty, not a favor to the fighter of scientology, just ridiculous and childish.

Tom put his face on a product to help sell it.
If Tom is helping to sell Scientology, and Scientology hurts people, Tom is responsible.
End of Story.

InitialsTC -- I do not think there is anything personal meant against Tom, I don't think anyone here holds hate in there hearts for any individual. Instead they hold contempt for the actions and consequences caused by individuals. Tom Cruise holds forth his cult (and no matter what you can say about it, COS IS a cult), promotes it, advertises it and crusades for it.
If he were to be just a human and star he would be ignored by most. If he espoused real charities and causes, he would be celebrated by those here.

He chooses to champion a cause that is, for want of any more accurate term, EVIL. If he could be brought to his senses and managed to escape the cult, Tom Cruise could become a hero - working to free others from slavery (mental and physical). What he does though, is ride the crest of adoration by the common (slave) members of the cult, living in absolute luxury while served by lesser members who live in absolute poverty. I can only hope that deep down he does not believe what he speaks....and someday that little voice will become a great shout, releasing him (and with him a flood of others) from the evil control of Hubbards twisted dream.

Hold him on a pedestal for his acting if you must, but judge him by his life as well.

In other words, ITC..Tom is more concerned with his "church" than he is with his fans. His "church" comes first before anything else.

SPONGE!

I certainly hope that you're in NO WAY indicating that Tom Cruise may be a FATHEAD! Wink

I disagree, Initials TC.

Tom Cruise has a great deal of influence over DM and is heavily involved in CofS and not just as a public.

I think he has some responsibility there.

Actually, I think you have that ass-backwards. It is DM who has a great deal of influence over Tom Cruise.

I offer the following essay as proof, and as always Google is your friend if you would like to know more about this.

Quote:
From a post by the late Robert Vaugh Young
from his "For -Ever-Lines
Posted SEpt 27, l997
Hubbard names celebrities as "quarry" to be "hunted"

I made reference in another post to an early L. Ron Hubbard issue about
his view of celebrities. I found it. Because of the interest in
Scientology's use of celebrities to front for the organization, and
because of the importance of this directive he wrote in forming the basis
of Scientology's search for celebriteis, I want to pass this on. It also
shows how Hubbard viewed them, meaning how they are viewed today.

"Project Celebrity" appeared in the "Ability" newsletter (Minor II - a
complicated designation LRH gave to his in-house magazines) that was
issued in early 1955. (There is promotion for an upcoming "Congress" on
June 3-5 to be held in Phoenix, Arizona.)

In it, LRH announces "Project Celebrity" to find celebrities. "It is
obvious what would happen to Scientology if prime communicators benefiting
from it would mention it now and then," LRH says. So he offers a list of
celebrities and says to write and say which one the reader wants. "We will
then allocate this person to you as your game," Hubbard says.

Hubbard goes on to say, "Having been awarded one of these celebrities, it
will be up to you to learn what you can about your quarry and then put
yourself at every hand across his or her path, and not permitting
discouragements or 'no's' or clerks or secretaries to intervene, in days
or weeks or months," to get them into an auditing session.

Hubbard says all costs for the hunt are to be borne by the hunter assigned
the celebrity. But he will "Award the celebrity to you as your quarry" and
give you exclusive hunting rights. "If you want one of these celebrities
as your game, write us at once so the notable will be yours to hunt
without interference." He also offers two weeks of "special coaching" in
Phoenix, if you pay for the trip there and your own living expenses.

Hubbard warns, "These celebrities are well guarded, well barricaded,
over-worked, aloof quarry." But, if you are successful, "If you bring one
of them home you will get a small plaque as your reward."

In reading Hubbard's list of celebrity "quarry," remember, this is 1955 so
many names will be unfamiliar to many but it is an impressive list. Had
Hubbard gained even a small percentage from the list, he would have made
headway. However, there is no record that even one of these "quarry" were
turned or captured.

Here are Hubbrd's celebrity "quarry" for 1955:

Walter Winchell
Edward R. Murrow
Ed Sullivan
Marlene Dietrich
Robert Q. Lewis
Orson Welles
Ernest Hemmingway
Danny Kaye
Joseph Alsop
Stewart Alsop
Sid Caesar
Louella Parsons
Liberace
Walt Kelly
Charles Laughton
Gaylord Hauser
Eric Johnson
Fred Allen
Harry Seeger
John Ford
Elliott White Springs [sic]
Gabriel Heatter
Arthur Godfrey
George Gobel
Fulton J. Sheen
James Stewart
Howard Hughes
Philip Wylie
Billy Graham
Hedda Hopper
Bob Hope
Artie Shaw
Pablo Picasso
Al Capp
Walt Disney
Milton Berle
Duncan Hines
Dorothy Kilgallen
Gene Fowler
Jimmy Hatlo
Gordon MacRae
Jackie Gleason
Lowell Thomas
Frank Edwards
Joe Lewis
Vincent Price
Red Skelton
Joshua Logan
Henry Luce
Walter Lippman
Groucho Marx
Darryl Zanuck
Cecil B. DeMille
Leopold Stokowski
Arturo Toscanini
Bing Crosby
Edward G. Robinson
Greta Garbo
Robert C. Ruark
Earle Stanley Gardner
Charles Addams
Robert Montgomery
Donald O'Conner
-end of list-

After four decades, one can look back with some amusement (e.g., at the
idea that someone was going to convert Bishop Fulton Sheen or Evangelist
Billy Graham) or see the ironies of history, e.g., Hubbard came to hate
Henry Luce, the head of Time/Life. Merely note that if you know who these
people were/are and categorize them into their areas of influence
(entertainment, arts, media, finance, religion, etc.), it gives insight
into what Hubbard was trying to do and what Miscavige is now doing with
John Travolta, Chick Corea, etc. (Also note that political figures were
absent. Hubbard was not ignorant of their importance but the plan was
clearly to get the celebs first, just as they are doing today.)

In the next issue of "Ability," Hubbard added a note about "Project
Celebrity" in which he "assures all hunters that reports, names, progress,
and all other material" will not be published. To the "hunters," he wishes
"excellent hunting." And then, with Hubbard's typical sense of
self-importance, he adds, "To the celebrities who have been chosen we
extend our congratulations."

Hubbard closes by saying these people have tried various forms of therapy
and not only need Scientology auditing but "THEY ARE KEENLY AWARE of the
need for auditing." (Hubbard's caps.) Thus, "You might as well be informed
of this fact - that your quarry is looking for you, a lot harder than you
are looking for him. Might as well give the guy a hand."

Makes one wonder if Celebrity Center should be renamed, "Quarry Center."

Robert Vaughn Young

I would have said it was DM having more influence over Tom, too, but I've been told by some people that when TC screams, DM gets nervous.

DM indoctrinated the hell out of Tom Cruise. It can be seen in the changes in Cruise's behavior.

But the influence doesn't go all one way.

Hey Natty, you can't argue with crazy and you can't teach it either...the son-of-a-gun is just nuts.

He fronts for this criminal organization that keeps families seperated, so if people hate him for that, I say that they have every right to feel the way they feel.

Tom is choosing to help sell a product, regardless if that "product" is harmful/faulty or not. He has become, by virtue of his own actions and complicity, a willing participant in selling the "product".

As with any spokesperson selling a faulty product, he is held at least partially responsible for its' promotion and distribution. Therefore, he can and should be held just as accountable for the production of that product as the actual manufacturers... just as Kathie-Lee Gifford was held accountable for promoting clothes in Wal-Mart that were manufactured by urchins working in Asian sweatshops.

ITC, stop being all butthurt when your idol is held accountable for actions he's willingly participating in to the detriment of mankind in perpetuating the crimes of Scientology. He doesn't need you to be his shield.

helene, I am just as sick of listening to you spout crap as you are about what people say about Tom. This is his own fault. his own responsibility and i can not believe you said he's calmed down since 2004. Have you been in a coma for 4 years?

People in here are right. Tom is choosing to do this. His outbursts are insane and irresponsible. He's a tiny idiot with a big ass mouth. And i feel really bad that you can't see him for what he is. No#2 (double meaning) of a cult that destroys lives.

Your constant bitching at everyone to lay off is doing no good in a forum that is against scientology. He's the biggest mouthpiece they have and unless kirstie alley mistakes him for an eclair or something and accidently eats him, i dont see him shutting up anytime soon.

One more thing, the only reason i dont have you on ignore...the more i read your incoherrent ramblings the more i want this cult to go away and the more it motivates me to get more involved. So just keep flapping those gums little girl.
