John Duignan fails to show up on Sunday Night Safran

For the last two sundays (1/12 and 8/12) John Duignan has been scheduled to appear on Triple J's religion program Sunday Night Safran, and both times he's been a no-show.

Safran's been comically venting about the matter in each show, but I'm a bit concerned myself. Anyone know what the deal is?

I wish I'd volunteered someone, at least they would have arrived on time. It makes me suspicious that it wasn't his intention to miss those two appointments, but it's pure speculation until we get some facts. It's disappointing to say the least - Safran was almost turned off the topic until the interview with Andreas but it seems that kept him open to discussion. It's the premiere venue for religious discussion in Australia so we better not fuck up next time.
