St. Petersburg Times' "The Feed" continues the barrage, signaling a call-out to the suddenly silent celebrity scientologists....
As St. Petersburg Times' tough Scientology stories arc across media, some celebrity church members are silent

One place I haven't seen the story mentioned: Greta Wire -- the blog maintained by Fox News Channel anchor and Scientologist Greta Van Susteren. Though she has four posts up today, referencing everything from the mysterious voluntary disappearance of South Carolina's governor to a staffer from her show who was whacked by a foul ball at a baseball game, Van Susteren hasn't yet posted an entry on the story, though some of her commenters have referenced it.
(A St. Petersburg Times story in 1998 referenced how low-key Van Susteren and her husband, John Coale, can be about their membership in the church.)
Similarly, Kirstie Alley, another well-known Scientologist, hasn't referenced the story on her Twitter account, though she is an active user who posts lots of messages in a sort of free-from dialogue with her online followers.

That would be quite a moral and ethical dilemma, if it were any other church, but with Scientology it goes like this ... "career or religion, career or religion, hmmmmmmmmm ... if I sacrifice my career to stick up for the Church, then I will not have any more money to donate. No more money to donate, I become useless to the Church as well as being ethics bait. Throw my career under the bus, the Church throws me under the bus. Hmmmmmm ... career or church, career or church ... I think I will save my career, the Church can wait, besides, that way I will still have money to donate."

How about this:
"Oh look at the nasty things they're saying about the ecclesiastical leader of my church, David Miscavage! Damn them all to hell! I am so furious! Cindy, get me my publicist." _________________ Reading List: http://www.worldcat.org./profiles/Wieber/lists/563909 scientology is a cult. -1 +1 "Then they fight you, then you win." This won't format properly here but I think you'll be able to figure it out. I would like to be able to take this to my old writing team and really make it funny, but this will do for now.

INT. ANNE ARCHER’S OFFICE - DAY
ANNE ARCHER sits at her desk in her spacious well appointed and very comfortable office. Light streams in through very large windows. She is making entries in her twitter account.
There is a KNOCK on her door.
ANNE
Come in.
The door opens and ROGER walks in carrying a large poster.
ANNE (CONT’D)
(suddenly enthusiastic)
Roger! Come in and sit down. I’ve been wanting to go over some things with you.
Roger goes over to her but doesn’t sit just yet.
ROGER
Ms. Archer, I wanted to show you this proof for a souvenir poster of you developed for your fans.
He holds it up. It is a black and white picture of Anne with her name, ANNE ARCHER, in large bold letters.
ANNE
That’s incredible, Roger. I must say your team does excellent work. Now, sit down. I want to discuss . . .”
The phone RINGS with the theme to Fatal Attraction. Anne looks at the call display.
ANNE (CONT’D)
Oh, it’s him. I wonder what he wants.
ROGER
Aren’t you going to answer it?
ANNE
Oh my, no. I have better things to do than listen to him go on and on.
The phone goes into answering machine mode.
ANNE’S VOICE
You have reached the voice mail of Anne Archer. I am not in the office right now to take your call but if you leave a brief message after the tone, I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
TONE
Anne’s son, Tommy Davis’ voice can be heard.
TOMMY
Mom? Mom? Are you there? Pick up! Pick up!
ANNE
(laughing proudly)
He’s so tone forty.
ROGER
What?
She shakes her head and waves off his question.
TOMMY
Mom, it’s the church of scientolgoy spokesperson, Tommy Davis. Pick up!
ANNE
How formal. He does love his title, doesn’t he?
TOMMY
Mom? Mom? Look I know you’re there! Pick up!
ROGER
I can come back later.
ANNE
Oh, no, no, no, no, no. Stay.
TOMMY
Mom, there’s an article about the church and David Miscavage in the St. Petersburg Times. You are not to read it, Mother!
ANNE
(laughing)
He gets so official when he’s wearing his ethics officer hat.
ROGER
His what?
She waves him off with a look that says she’ll explain later.
TOMMY
Look, Mom. Enemies of the church are telling vicious lies about Mr. Miscavage. Mr. Miscavage has phoned Tom and I’ve phoned John, Kirstie, Giovanni, Nancy, Geoffrey, Priscilla, Jenna, Juliette and Beck. None of them returned our calls.
Anne smiles and looks over at Roger.
ANNE
Can I get you a coffee?
ROGER
That would be nice. One milk, two sugars.
Anne fingers the intercom.
ANNE
Cindy, two coffees, please. One with one milk and two sugars.
TOMMY
I’ve filed knowledge reports on all of them.
ROGER
What?
ANNE
Technical stuff.
TOMMY
Mom, they’ve made vicious allegations about the ecclesiastical leader of our church, all of them lies. We want to annihilate their credibility. Mom, I need you to make a statement to the press.
Roger looks at her questioningly.
ANNE
Oh, no! Did you see what happened to Tom after he jumped on that couch?
TOMMY
Mom, this is of the utmost urgency!
ANNE
(dismissively)
Isn’t it always?
TOMMY
Mom! Call me! I’m putting this order on a time machine.
ROGER
A what?
ANNE
A timed schedule.
He mouths, “Oh” and nods.
TOMMY
Bye, Mom. Call me. I wuv you.
The door opens and CINDY comes in carrying a tray with two coffees and refreshments on it.
FADE TO BLACK. |

Wieber: And scene! That is wrap. Put it in the can. That is a very funny scene.
When Tom Cruise was being taken apart in the media for his shenanigans in 2005 not one Scientology celebrity stepped up to speak up for him. You know who stepped up? It was crypto-Scientologists Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. Will and Jada had class and integrity and all of the other Scienocelebs abandoned a comrade in danger.
Will is a stand up guy. He is man. Even if he is a crypto-Scientologist I still respect him immensely. I hope that Will and Jada realizes that the beatings are real, that they actually happened, and that David Miscavige cannot be morally defended on any basis. I urge Will and Jada to put a huge amount of distance between themselves and COB. I urge all Scienocelebs to do the same.

I'd laugh my arse of if they manage to get Jenna Elfman to comment on it while she promotes her upcoming new series. It'd be a footbulletpalooza! _________________ Scientology: At best its a placebo. At worst, its a poison. |

The various scioCeleb's Agents/PR people must be getting ulcers
trying to figure exactly how to spin these St Pete Times revelations.
Oh well, Idols were once made of Gold or Silver and encrusted
with precious jewels. The modern day Idolaters worship, at
best, plaster images; indeed, mostly celluoid idols. Such idols do not
even need to be smashed; they naturally disintergrate over time.
Those "celebs" unfortunate enough to have hitched their wagons to
scientology and its crimes will simply fade away before they
might otherwise have. Nothing makes celluloid fall apart faster
than heat...scientology is getting a lot of heat lately. There's
more coming I would guess. |

I'll bet that they won't have read the article, as I suspect the online version will have been blacked out by the Scieno Net Nanny program, or they'll have been instructed not to read it as Entheta. There might be a couple of celebs that may be considered in enough "good standing" (by which I mean brainwashed enough to defend DM and TD to the hilt) to be exposed to the piece, and be cleared to comment on it, but even then, I personally doubt that'll happen.
Given what Jason Beghe has said about his time at Gold (being escorted away from Sea Org quarters and so on), and how carefully DM presents himself to the Celeb members, I think its honestly doubtful any of the Celebs would have been exposed to DM at his worst.
Any lurking celeb exes, please feel free to prove me wrong. You'll be doing yourselves and others (both in and out of the cult) a huge favour. _________________ Scientology: At best its a placebo. At worst, its a poison. |

I thought the "Ecclesiastical Head" was the "Reverend" David Miscaviage's
(Padre Dave's) toilet. Maybe its his reserved commode aboard the
"Deathwinds"; maritime toilets are referred to as the "Head", no?
So, are you suggesting that TC and DM are giving each other Head in the Head? |

From Wikipedia we learn that Jeffrey Tambor is no longer a Scientologist:
| Quote: | | Some reports state that, like Tambor's longtime associate, acting coach Milton Katselas, Tambor is a Scientologist. However, in February 2008, Tambor expressed concern about "internet reports" that he is involved with the religion and stated that he "took some Scientology classes at one time, studied Scientology for a while, but no more. I have nothing against it, but I am no longer a Scientologist." |
ref:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeffrey_Tambor
Attn ScienoCelebs: Jeffrey Tambor just said "No" to Scientology almost 18 months ago and his career has gotten on just fine. With Milton Katselas' passing and Tom Cruise's stated refusal to discuss Scientology, there are virtually no Scientology Evangelists left in Hollywood except for some C listers like Jenna Elfman. Of course, Juliette Lewis continues to rock for Scientology:
