They could do the visual effects that were done in LOTR to make the actors playing hobbits look shorter. J/k

John Candy would have made a good LRH. He was chubby and seemed to to fine in odd ball rolls.
How about Dan Akroyd as an older DM? Or Bill Murray

Ann Potts would be good as an older Mary Sue Hubbard. Jean Smart as well.
The guy who plays Jackson on SOA could play one of LRH's sons..
