I was informed it was Saturday, August 25, which seems to be a little late in the month, but.....

I drove to the Celebrity Centre this afternoon & walked around the complex followed by 2 paranoid bike guards chatting away on their radio. At the Bronson St parking entry, I ran into the infamous Buddy Richardson, the CC's Chief of Security, who was tight-lipped about the stage & lights erected facing Franklin Avenue and all the workers scampering around. There were also a cherry picker parked on Bronson.

Still no confirmation on whether the Gala is this Saturday PM or next week, but it looks like it's going to be sooner than later.. anyone here know how to get hold of Mark Lowell and to confirm street permits for the event?
