The "Curse of Scientology" did not affect Will Smith and Hancock. His 4th o' July movie raked it in at the BO. Well Done, Will Smith! Your effusive charisma worked its legendary magic once again. Could you work with Tom Cruise on charisma? Tom seems to be short of charisma these days.

Now, the next question becomes this: Does WS continue to be a Crypto-Scientologist who plays "toesies" under the table with LRH, or does he publicly convert this year?

I hope he does neither. I like the guy. On the Movie forums, he's loved or hated. I'm reserving my feelings right now. Cruise and most of the other celeb's make me sick and I can't watch them. I just can't do it. I'd hate for Smith to fall into the same position as these others. If he does join, his career will suffer for it. And that's unfortunate.
