*****"He's [the Arab] been going crazy steadily and gradually ever since he lost the early very fertile basins of the Middle East. He's been going crazy ever since he failed to learn wheat farming and brought about the erosion of all of the fertile areas of the Middle East."
"This race has been going for a very, very long time and has been eating
death for a very long time and it is death."
"The Arab is to a point where he won't even follow a decent leader. He's
got to have a man of blood, a man of cruelty, exaggeration and bigotry.
Then he'll follow him."
"...the Arab is trying to be pleased with death and murder and mayhem
and disease and poverty and political unrest."
--L. Ron Hubbard, 20th Advanced Clinical Course, "Case Analysis—Rock
Hunting", lecture of 4 August 1958
Even as US President Obama, America's first Black President, is in the Middle East working to improve America's deeply troubled relations with the Islamic world, the Cult of Scientology continues to embrace L. Ron Hubbard's anti-Islamic, racist views.
President Obama officially admitted to American involvement the 1953 coup that overthrew Iranian Prime Minister Mossadegh and destroyed Iran's nascent democracy. These are steps that need to be taken towards peace and away from enmity. The West needs to better understand Islam in its pure form and not the form that Islamic radicals have presented.
Despite President Obama's attempts at progress towards an understanding in the Middle East, Scientology has never formally acknowledged, or apologized for, L. Ron Hubbard's racism or his anti-Islamic hate speech. The world needs to know that L. Ron Hubbard was a racist and was anti-Islamic. Further, just as Scientology has failed to purge Hubbard's infamous Manifesto calling for a Scientology Genocide/Quarantine contained in his book Science of Survival, so too has Scientology failed to purge, or apologize for, Mr. Hubbard's slander of Islam.
In Whats Wrong with this Universe: A Working Package for the Auditor, (L. Ron Hubbard, 9 Dec 1952), Hubbard denigrated the Prophet Mohammad by claiming that Mohammad fabricated Islam as way to make money because trade was not good in his city. Hubbard additionally claimed that the sacred Black Stone in Mecca is part of an alien implant that Hubbard called "The Emenator." This following section is what Scientology believes about Islam; you can hear the soundbite of Hubbard insulting Islam and slandering Mohammad at: http://www.ami.com.au/~bradw/cos/Sounds/casbah.wav
Hubbard and Scientology believe that any person who sees the sacred Black Stone in Mecca becomes secretly hypnotized and is then kidnapped by Muslims who do a diabolical a "transposition of beingness" on the victim. Scientologists see Muslims as being dangerous in this way. It's [the Black Stone] an enormous stone hanging suspended in the middle of a room, this is an incident called the Emanator by the way, and this thing is by the way the source of the Mohammedan Lodestone that they have hanging down there, that, eh, when Mohammed decided to be a good small-town booster in eh Kansas, Middle-East, or something of the sort.
By the way, the only reason he [Mohammad] mocked that thing up [Islam], is the trade wasn't good in his hometown. That's right. You read the life of Mohammed. And he's got a black one and it sort of hung between the ceiling and the floor, I don't know, maybe they call it the Casbah or something or... Anyway, anyway, that thing is a mockup of the Emanator! The Emanator is bright, not black.
And so, your volunteer, who insists on a sightseeing trip, goes in and this thing is standing in the middle of the room, and it's going 'wong wong wong wong wong' and he says: "Isn't that pretty?". It sure is, and then he says "Mmmgrmrm ponk" Why, I'll tell you, they cart him from there, and they take him in and they do a transposition of beingness.
This is all completely absurd and yet it is what Scientology believes about Islam according to its own scriptures. Because Hubbard spoke these hateful and ignorant words about Islam, they are considered sacred scripture that is binding upon all Scientologists. Scientology has never denounced Hubbard's great insult to Islam. Scientology is anti-Islamic and opposes all other religions as well. In Scientology's filing for tax exemption in the US, it stated to the American government:
Although Scientology claims that Muslims, Christians, Jews, etc can be Scientologists, in actual practice they are expected to leave their mosques, churches, and temples to practice Scientology exclusively."Footnote 6: Although there is no policy or Scriptural mandate expressly requiring Scientologists to renounce other religious beliefs or membership in other churches, as a practical matter Scientologists are expected to and do become fully devoted to Scientology to the exclusion of other faiths. As Scientologists, they are required to look only to Scientology Scriptures for the answers to the fundamental questions of their existence and to seek enlightenment only from Scientology."
